Excuses

I have many, many excuses for why I haven't blogged lately.  Most of them are bad, some of them don't make sense, and some of them are just full of complaints.  I do have one excuse that is good so I think I'll share that one today.  On June 1, 2011 (yes, I know that was almost 6 months ago), I became a FULL-TIME student again!  Hooray for me!  I am really enjoying it.  I'm attending Western Governor's University.  It's a great school.  Right now I'm working on my bachelor's degree in K-8 Education.  When I'm done with that, I will move on and work on a Masters Degree in Library Science.  Yes, I am going to be a librarian.  Of all the career choices I've considered in my lifetime, this one is the only one I have felt SUPER excited about.  Yay me!

WAY back in August, Ruth left us...

The day after the wedding (first weekend in August), Grandma Jones kidnapped Ruth and flew her up to Washington.  They got to hang out for a few days before we (me, Jones, Gareth and Ronan) met them up there for the Reunion.  We missed her a lot but we got to Skype her every night.

On Tuesday, we flew up to Washington.  It was a happy Reunion.  Ruth seemed to survive just fine without me :(.

Ronan's Obsession

The ladies in nursery were telling me how much Ronan loves doing puzzles.  I thought that was cool so I went and bought him a couple.  Ronan doesn't love doing puzzles.  He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES doing puzzles.  It's funny, the first thing he says when he wakes up now is "do puzzle!" and he runs to where his puzzles are.  He's even skipped a couple meals because he didn't want to stop doing puzzles.  We've had these new puzzles for four days now and I would make a reasonable guess that he's spent a total of 3 hours each day doing the puzzles.  There's only two of them but he still hasn't lost interest.  I think I know what Santa is going to bring Ronan this year!!
