Thanks to the help of some AMAZING people we have been able to finally get into a place of our own.  We LOVE it so much!  We are out in Saratoga Springs (NorthWest of Utah Lake).  We are so happy here. :)

They just made a trail behind our house that leads to the school and  the future park.  The boys thought it was awesome watching the tractors and dump trucks.

Happy Birthday Gareth!!!

Two weeks ago, Gareth turned FIVE years old!  I'm a horrible mother so I decided to forget the camera at home and not take any pictures.  In know my dad took some, but he has yet to email them to me (HINT, HINT).  UPDATE: Dad got the hint.. I've added the pics he sent.  Plus a movie. :)

Gareth LOVES Sonic the Hedgehog so we decided to have his party be a Sonic party.  Too bad all the party stores weren't on board.  Can you believe they don't have any sonic stuff at party stores?  It's CrAzY because sonic is cool.  Anyway....

Even though Jonesy threw a fit when it happened, Gareth really wanted sonic hair for the day.  This is the best I could do.

He also wanted a sonic cake.  I got the ONLY sonic toys I could find and put them on top of just a regular cake. (Lazy, I know).

But Gareth liked it and that's all that matters. :)

We had a fun party.  We ate chili dogs (cause that's sonic's FAVORITE food).  Gareth doesn't really like chili dogs.... but that's what he wanted for his party dinner!

After dinner we shot balloons with nerf guns, opened presents and ate cake!  Gareth had a great birthday.  I still can't believe he's 5.  We love him so much!

Photo Catch-up

So since I have been neglecting this blog, I thought I'd throw in some pictures to play catch-up.  Hopefully I can figure out a way to fit blogging into my schedule better.  So here you go!

Here we are at the annual Super Reader Party that we have been loving each January for the past 3 years.  Gareth is choosing the color of glitter he wants to put in his goo.

Ruth and Gareth seem to think it's 'cool' to pet snakes.  I disagree.

Ronan made this mask and crown all by himself!  He wore them for an hour until he fell asleep in the car and they fell off.

Our children like fun dining experiences.  Here they are at a Japanese Hot Pots place called Shabu Shabu House.  It's like fondue but with soup instead of cheese.

Here we are at Neptune Park near our new house.  Yes, this is a huge pyramid.  Yes that is Jones at the top in the black shirt.  Ruth is in the blue shirt at the top too.

Ruth made me try to climb to the top.  I made it half-way.  Here is a close-up of Jones and Ruth hanging out at the top.

Gareth preferred the closer-to-the-ground toys.

And he had fun.

For Dr. Seuss day, Ruth's school invited the children to dress up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character.  Here is Ruth as Fox in Socks (three pairs of socks on her feet and a pair on her hands.

Ruth planned a party shortly before we moved.  She even planned a speech to give at the beginning of the party.  I thought it was so cute/funny and a great example of her personality.  Here's what it says:

"Party Speech May I plese have evryones attention.  Thank you. Thank you all for coming.  My name is Ruth Jones for those who don't know me. Refreshments are in the othere room and the party games will begin in a moment. Intill then you can snack on refeshmints and walk around.  If you have any questions just ask me.  Thank you. =)"
