Ruthie was having a great time today playing on the back porch. After a while she was able to let us know that she had formed a Relief Society with two worms, a roly poly and an ant. Amen.

I guess she doesn't want to be President...

Ruth: "Mom, I don't want to be rich because then I'd have to take over the world."
Mom: "Just because you're rich doesn't mean you have to take over the world."
Ruth: "You don't? Oh, okay."

Every picture has a story...

I am going through all my pictures on my phone and camera and I have a few random ones that I'd like to post. There is no theme other than randomness. Enjoy!!

This is my favorite nephew (the only one so far (we're getting another one this month sometime!!)) Robbie. He's got red hair too. That means he and Gareth should be friends.

This is a picture Ruth colored in her Primary class at Church. When she showed it to me she said "This is me and my eyes are red and I'm praying to Heavenly Father to help my eyes get better." She drew this picture while we were still in Utah at my parents' house right after her cousin Ember had Pink-Eye.

This is Gareth enjoying our new mall's indoor play area. It's not as cool as Flagstaff Mall's play area, but pretty close.

No, she's not saying "Talk to the hand," she's showing me her very first blister! We were all excited to experience this wonderful event. Oh and if you can't see it, it's on her hand, riiiiiight there (I'm pointing to it for you). Don't worry, she's all better now.

Here is my princess being put to work. We started a chore chart and she's very excited about it. Especially when I let her wear my apron. If you look closely at her right hand you'll notice that she's got a band aid on. This is proof that there really was a blister on her hand in the last picture.

So there you go. Life is great here in Lubbock. We're really liking it here so far.

Bad news for hippies.
